Dr. Lisa Farah-Eways will be the new Program and Medical Director of IVF for the Greater Southern Alameda Area (GSAA). Dr. Farah-Eways joined Kaiser Permanente 15 years ago after graduating from the University Of Florida College Of Medicine and completing her OB/GYN residency training at the University Of Florida College Of Medicine. She went on to complete her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and also in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
Dr. Farah-Eways worked closely with Dr. Wen Shen to establish Kaiser Permanente’s IVF Program in Fremont, the first ever KP IVF center for Northern California. Lisa has served as the Medical Director of the IVF Program since 2011 and the program has grown with service to patients from the South Bay and San Francisco. They have had nearly 4,000 live births to date with that number continuing to accelerate due to both volume increases and higher success rates.
Dr. Farah-Eways enjoys her practice and as her homepage says “I truly enjoy my profession and give each patient my personalized attention, caring for them as if they are a member of my family.”
Lisa Farah-Eways is married to Marwan Adel Eways and has two children, Adel Jacob (AJ) and Ayden Sophia. She is formerly from Jacksonville, FL and now lives in Los Altos, CA. She is the daughter of Nadya Batteh Farah and the late Fuad Abraham Farah.
