On the Move:
Davis Lee, son of David and Tammy Farhat Lee are excited to share their son’s passion and impressive talent in the game of golf that began at the tender age of 7. Davis attended a one week summer camp at Selva Marina Golf & Country Club, in Atlantic Beach, Florida, that focused on tennis, swimming, and golf. Come weeks end, the country club’s Head Pro, Tim Peterson, pulled Davis’ parents aside, and advised he felt Davis had a very special gift, and he was right.
Davis began competing merely a couple months after first picking up a golf club. After one tournament golf season, competing in the U.S. Kids Golf Association, Davis was honored with “The Junior Player of the Year” award, and, each year thereafter as well! Davis is now 14, and competes in the NFJG Elite Tour, and the FJT Junior Tour. Davis has been ranked top 10 in the state of Florida for several years and has earned nearly 150 golf tournament place awards, including his recent win at the USKG State of Florida Championship, held at Disney’s Palms Golf Course in Orlando, Florida.
While his achievements in golf are impressive, it is well understood that education is priority. Davis and his twin sister, Sydnie, are honor roll students in the Honor’s Program. Davis is taking his elective classes at home via the Florida Virtual School Program, in order to allow for more time on the golf course.
Davis’ proud grandparents are Edward and Saundra Farhat. Bravo to Davis’ continued passion, dedication, and drive
