On September 23rd, our club hosted a Casino Night. The Chairperson, Tyler Bateh, led the efforts for the planning, Ticket Sales, and coordination with various vendors to help make this a memorable evening for all. There were close to 170 guests, who all enjoyed “Casino Style” games like Blackjack, Roulette, Slots, and Craps. Everyone had a great time and our club is hoping to make this a yearly event! Many thanks go out to Chairperson Tyler Bateh for this successful event.
On September 24th, the Captains Choice Golf Tournament was held at Deercreek Country Club. In attendance were 48 golfers in 12 teams of 4. Raffle prizes were awarded and a BBQ dinner was held after the tournament. Proceeds were raised for the club’s charitable giving fund. Many thanks go out to Chairmen Nick Mousa and Issa Odeh for organizing this fun event.
On October 22nd, our club held their annual fall picnic. It was very successful as members enjoyed our traditional dinner, fellowship and fun! Many thanks go out to Chairperson Tania Hanania and her committee for coordinating the fall picnic.
Youth Group News:
In conjunction with our annual fall picnic, our Youth coordinated our annual fall carnival including a Haunted House!! Both events were a huge success and very enjoyable for all. Many thanks go out to the Youth Directors, Christy Farmand Rukab and Katherine Shunnarah Akel: the youth, their parents and all who participated to make it a fun event.
